RISC...Recovery Industry Services Company

We are pleased to announce that Joe and Elizabeth Taylor have agreed to resume control of the C.A.R.S. and F.R.S. certification programs, Matrix Educational Systems, Inc. and the website, www.repospecialist.com.

The new organization that will serve as the umbrella for these programs, as well as a number of additional services is the Recovery Industry Services Company (RISC). Stamatis Ferarolis, owner of Asset Investigations & Recovery (AIR) will serve as President. Other staff members at this time are, Joe Taylor, Vice-President, Elizabeth Taylor will serve as Administrative Secretary and Brian Taylor will serve as a Director.

RISC is not a national trade association and will not be a “membership” organization. Although we encourage membership and active participation in all national and state trade associations, RISC will serve as an independent advocacy organization for all professional practitioners within the collateral recovery profession.

We envision RISC as a revolutionary new organization created exclusively to provide services specific to the collateral recovery industry and advocate on behalf of all professionals. We will offer a variety of unique services that are designed to improve your collateral recovery operation from the agency owner down to the employee on the storage lot.

In addition to administering the C.A.R.S. and F.R.S. programs, three of our primary goals as an industry advocate are to bring about a better working relationship between the recovery industry and the lending community, work with industry leaders to complete the process of creating Industry Standards, and to find ways to reduce the cost of insurance.

To achieve those goals we are creating a Recovery Industry Advisory Counsel. This counsel will be comprised of representatives of the national trade associations and state trade associations, independent operators that can meet those Industry Standards, representatives of the lending community, and insurance representatives offering proper insurance coverage.

We firmly believe by bringing these associated industries together in an advisory capacity we can be successful in “bridging the gap” for the mutual benefit of all parties. In addition to these stated goals, we are working to bring to fruition several other services that will be uniquely beneficial to collateral recovery specialists.
